Historic village in Sanibel and Captiva Islands with paper and audio guides for a guided tour
This historic village was founded in 1984. It consists of a group of buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries (school, post office...) dedicated to the history of the pioneer families of Sanibel and Captiva. It tells the story of these two islands from the arrival of the Calusas Indians to the mid-1900s. Paper and audio guides are available in each building, but it is also possible to take a guided tour at 10:30 am (no extra charge).
