Small national park with 2 playgrounds for children in Venice with more than 200 species of birds to observe
A small national park, with 1,385 acres (560 ha) forested with pine and littered with brush. It is possible to canoe or kayak, swim in the lake, fish in fresh or salt water, and walk or bike on the 16 kilometer-long trails. The park is home to over 200 species of birds, especially scrub j ays. You can pick up a list of birds to watch at the Visitor Center. The park is very kid-friendly and has two playgrounds for children.
