Boutique hotel ideal for exploring Tampa, the first hotel in historic Ybor City.

This all-level boutique hotel is the perfect home base for exploring Tampa. Located in the historic Ybor City neighborhood - its first hotel! -it's only a few minutes' walk from Downtown Tampa. Local craftsmanship and nods to the neighborhood are scattered throughout the rooms, which are both modern and warm. Enjoy a dip in the quiet, relaxing pool, sip Cuban coffee at Cafe Quiquiriqui or sample internationally inspired specialties at the beautiful Flor Fina restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel, despite its high price. The service was abysmal. Although the hotel itself looks beautiful and the rooms are decent, the management is a nightmare. They bombard you with messages, claiming you can reach out for anything via text. I requested housekeeping at 12:30 pm, and when nobody showed up, I asked again at 5 pm. Both times they acknowledged my request but did nothing. When I returned at 11 pm, my room was still untouched, and even a simple request for towels was ignored. I strongly advise against staying here. Find a better place that values its guests.

The bartenders for the Pride parade in the Quiquiriqui entrance were very shady. Drinks were being advertised for $10, but they were charging more and giving themselves a 50% “auto gratuity” if you paid with a credit card. This didn’t happen if you paid in cash. It’s a shady business practice and customers should decide how much they want to tip. I use to like this place and spoke highly of it before but now I’ll be weary about going here in the future.

I have referred dozens of people to the Hotel Haya in past, and one of my organizations regularly meets there. But today, I am furious with them, and I look forward to hearing the hotel's response to this complaint. My daughter's friend booked a wedding there this weekend and everything was coming together perfectly. The couple walked the plan with staff together last weekend. Then yesterday, TWO DAYS BEFORE HER WEDDING, she was cc:ed in a letter to all her vendors that there will be the Pride Parade commencing in front of the hotel at the same time as her wedding. It is the tenth anniversary of this parade so no way they did not know. She has had to cancel a vintage car pickup, change her plans for after the wedding, and inform all guests that traffic and parking will be a mess and they will now have to either pay valet or uber. The Hotel is taking NO responsibility for this and informed her by cc:ing her with vendors. I am furious that they would treat a bride this way and I encourage the hotel in the strongest possible terms to try and make this right before tomorrow. They can't make the parade go away, but they can apologize and find some other way to show remorse for their mistake in not allowing her to plan for this or choose another date. I am personally going to spread the word to everyone I know and blacklist this hotel until they do, and you can be sure all the guests at the wedding will do the same.

Very happy to have found this little gem of a property in Ybor city. Clean spacious rooms. Well appointed and clean. Nice large pool and fine dining on site. Breakfast area served some delicious coffee (my wife suspects that its starbucks brand). Valet parking was $37 per night. Included in and out access. There was no self parking available at the hotel but there are garages around the street. Despite being so close to the action it was very quiet. Would gladly stay again.

Not bad astteticaly. I took a shower and someones disgusting hair trimming backed up into the shower. Absolutely appauling to bath in someone else's "filth" we will say. Picture with the finger was the depth of the water at the farthest point of the shower.

Also there a bunch of clowns cruising the road with thier music as loud as possible.
