TAMPA BAY HISTORY CENTER
Huge museum featuring immersive, playful exhibits in Tampa.
This huge museum of more than 5,500m2 traces 12,000 years of history, from the first inhabitants of Florida to the arrival of Europeans in the 16th century and the commercial development of Tampa Bay. The exhibits, spread over three floors, are particularly immersive and entertaining thanks to the use of models, films, quality sets and projections. Among the themes: European exploration, wars, pirates... Unusual: the Columbia Cafe is a reproduction of the eponymous restaurant located in Ybor City, the oldest in Florida (1905).
