You'll find several Greek bakeries in Tarpon Springs, but Hellas Bakery is definitely the most famous. The window display is more tempting with its baklavas, loukoums and koulourdias (butter cookies), to be accompanied by a Greek coffee. On the savory side, you can take away bourekis or spanakopitas (spinach and feta cheese pastry). The choice is huge and all the products are home-made. The bakery is connected to the Hellas Restaurant which offers traditional Greek cuisine with tzatziki, seafood and moussaka.
