The best apart this stay was the breakfast, a little pricy but that was the absolute best part. Hotel is very dated. Much like the city of Daytona Beach, way downhill. I have stayed in other Hiltons before much smaller ones that were a lot nicer. Imagine your early 1990’s hotel with an updated TV in your room, that’s what you’re getting. Staff was amazing. Don Rico’s was awesome. Just the stay in general, you can get much nicer for cheaper. I would stay elsewhere.

Positive are that the staff was very nice and the location is good, right on the beach. Negatives are a lot. To start with the biggest one was that the elevators were HORRIBLE. I've been stuck in an elevator before and this was bringing back every fear I ever had with elevators. Not only were they loud and unstable, they would stop on random floors and one would just sit there with the doors opening and closing over and over again. The PARKING was a lot across the street for $30 a night. I didn't see any surveillance cameras. You can pay $40 instead for Valet, but at that point $40 for parking is insane to me. Lastly they double charged our parking. We paid online and when we checked in they didn't ask nor look for it. Simply asked where we parked and charged us again. Fortunately we asked for a receipt and saw so we went back in for a refund. They were nice about it, but many hotels I've been to ask if we already paid for parking or look it up on their computers. Genuinely a 3/5 probably won't be back.

Always love the Hilton in Daytona. Great service, great location. Thanks!

Beautiful hotel. Awesome, fun staff, I think they had more fun at our events then we did. Nice rooms. It's really big so a lot of walking. Only thing I had an issue with is their drainage system. It takes so long for water to drain out. Other then that... It was great.

Honestly I think this is one of the worst resorts I have stayed at and to have to pay a 25$ daily resort fee when we couldn’t enjoy none of the resort amenities was just dumb. They had something called FTO going on which would’ve have been great to know at check in because the group kept having private events through the entire hotels playing loud trap music. We made reservation at the Hyde steakhouse and cause even enjoy a quit dinner cause all you heard was trap music and then it smelled like straight weed in the north tower which is odd for a non smoking hotel. The next day we wanted to enjoy the pool and guess what FTO reserved the entire pool when asking the front they said they would be done at 6 which was a lie it was closed down from 12-8 and again all you hear is loud trap music.

When we first check in and got to our room our “ocean view” was not really giant brick wall in the way and a shared balcony and on top of that there was an annoying parking dog. Thankfully the hotel staff did move our room to the 5th floor but when we got back from dinner guess what?! Barking yapping dog next door we listen to it non stop before we had to go complain they said they would send security… I don’t think they ever did because we heard it all night. Then we woke up to the yapping dog again and decided to go talk to the front again we thankfully got to talk to the young lady who help us the first time and this time called the owners and had security go up there she did let us know they were checking out the following day which was a relief! But I wil say we didn’t hear the dog afterwards.

The hotel is not very clean either and is in need of a desperate upgrade the carpet our horrible the windows and elevators were dirty the furniture in our rooms were just terrible as well very worn and scratched up /‘d the light wouldn’t stop flickering. I will definitely never stay here again and still annoyed I had to pay a resort fee to not even us the dang amenities or get to just relax.

Great hotel right on the beach.

There's no microwave or kettle in the room. They put one of the two little microwaves in the pool entrance and the other one was in the cafeteria. (Last day we saw a microwave in front of another room.) There was just a little fridge on the floor. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was rusted. The bathroom floor was Italian style. There is no bath tub. Only a shower curtain divides the whole bathroom floor, toilet and sink from the shower. The air conditioner was very loud when it was working. The location and the beach was perfect.

After reading some bad reviews and just staying at this place I now understand the problem. Yes the hotel is old, you need to know that going in. Yes they charge a lot of fees, again that's on you to know. But it's the people staying at this hotel that are the problem. Once you see some of these people you'll understand the complaints. They are poor but think they are rich pulling up in their raggedy Hyundai's. I loved it here and can't wait to return

The hotel needs a major renovation. The location was the best part, our room, the worst. The toilet ran non-stop, the mattresses were uneven. The in-house Starbucks is over-priced. One bright spot was the gentleman making omelettes for the breakfast Buffett. He knew what he was doing.

Bring breakfast if you stay. $30 breakfast buffet that you have to wait 30 minutes on only to find it mostly void of most items.

We have been staying here for years. Best thing about this hotel is location! The hotel itself is dated. There was paint chipped in the bathroom, rust stains. And there was hair in the bath tub from previous person. I originally booked a room for a rate of almost $600, it’s definitely not worth that! I canceled that reservation and rebooked at a lower price, $286+Tax. Breakfast buffet was just okay.

STAY AWAY!!!! Worst ever to be a Hilton! I am stunned. I complained since I arrived… Dirty curtains! Wine cooler on floor not a fridge! Poor plumbing. Bathroom floor cracked and broken! Tub does not work like it should!!! Oh and they resort fee surprise after they put another 225 charge on your card upon arrival! Beds are terrible and definitely not Queen size! You’re better off at the motel 6. To charge me resort fees for something I didn’t use is Asinine! Hyde park not that great either! Charged me twice being racist. Never again’ I will be emailing Paris Hilton herself about this monstrosity of a hotel. I was better off at a motel 2! Not even close to motel six????

Valet: good! Offered handicap discount
Check in: front desk not friendly enough, poker face, no greets, no clear direction to elevator
Room: third bed feels crash, called for replacement mattress, delivered in15mins, feels the same ,slaps springs in mattress.
Check out: no express check out, long walk to front desk, charged regular price on valet parking, no discount for handicap, no smile, no thank you, no greeting words.
Pick up car: waiting 55 mins to receive car, also no greeting words, no apology for waiting even all people received car already behind me.
Worst experience ever in my traveling history! Not going to recommend and never be back again!

Ocean view, the best breakfast buffet ever and the workers know their thing. The price for the buffet is on point. Arron, the person that checked us in, made checking in easy, thanks for all you do. Jody, our server for breakfast this morning, was wonderful and attentive, thanks for the cocoa to go. There were two guy’s making omelets also and you can see they enjoy their jobs.

Great views in the oceanfront room. Friendly staff. Great location. Parking is across the street but not a long walk. We'll be back.

This was our second stay at this property. The North Tower rooms are nicer in my opinion. The rooms need to be renovated, but the service at this hotel was wonderful! You also can't beat the location and the view from the room.

Yuri hooked us up with an awesome coconut mojito and an Daytona Beach delight at the McCos’s. To die for… This bar is freaking awesome. Great staff. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. If you’re in the resort, go and see my friend Yuri and enjoy an awesome cocktail.

The hotel recently renovated the public areas , but unfortunately the rooms are all very dated.
It is an old hotel at a great location on the Daytona boardwalk. The pool deck was recently redone, but the old pool towels are so thread bare that it feels like sandpaper. Not luxurious at all. People are putting their belongings on available chairs and are leaving. There are not enough lounge chairs. Why not remove belongings if people are not using the chairs?? Especially the daybeds. The pool in the south tower is not nice at all, it overlooks a parking structure. The north tower pool is much nicer and overlooking the ocean. The parking costs $30 per day and it’s not onsite. You have to cross the street and park in a sketchy unsecured lot. This is not a typical Hilton property. We had a nice ocean view but the windows were filthy!! We really didn’t like staying here. We ended up checking out early and going to stay at a nicer hotel. We didn’t care that the rates were already pre-paid.

We went on 3/15 and stayed through 3/17/24.
It was a little daunting at first when we arrived—the line was down the block! When we finally arrived at the valet, they were in great spirits and explained that this type of arrival is the Norm for them on Fridays! Crazy!
Then we checked in, and Andrea did a super job. She helped get a second room for our girls on the same floor! Amazing!
Then our Bellman, Shane, super infectious smile. Super helpful!
We got the Oceanfront Jr Suite, which is sweet, huge, and comfy. It has amazing views! Bring your pillows if you can; Hilton has lousy pillows. Everything else was great!
When we made the initial reservation over the phone, we asked about the hotel's restaurants and places in the area. The person on the phone told us we didn't need reservations at one particular restaurant, Hyde Park. Later that day, we tried getting in, and they were completely booked. They said they were NOT related to the hotel. We walked over to Don Rico, and it was delicious! Service again was excellent, and the food did not disappoint.
We love to walk around, and Daytona has a lot of places to walk to, and this Hotel is super close to it ALL.
At the beach, there are NO HOTEL CHAIRS. We had to pay an outside vendor $50 for two chairs and one umbrella for the day.
On the last day, we met Chris, our bellman, as we left. He was kind and funny and told us about another beach we should check out called Flagler Beach, and we did.
Our overall stay was great! One thing that went wrong was the elevators; of the four, three were OUT. But only for a short time. It didn't affect our stay.
We will go back again soon!

Amazing location with lots of activities near by!
- the flat iron stained my white shirt, permanently!
- shower curtain and shower vents have mold
- bathroom sink clogs!
- carpets raise dust as soon as you set your luggage down on the floor! (Spent all night sneezing!)
- you cannot adjust the thermostat regardless curtains open or closed. I was told they need to be closed…
- $40/day valet parking! There is a $10 public parking garage across the street!
- bed sinks in like no other bed I’ve laid on.
- furniture super old and out dated
- tv does not work. All channels glitch!

I WAS BOOWN AWAY WHEN I WENT TO BUY 4 BOTTLES OF WATER AND MY TOTAL WAS OVER $30 in the Starbucks shop that they have in this property! $7.50 per bottle!?

Overall the staff is nice/professional especially at the Hyde’s park restaurant. They will all try their best to address the inconveniences but due to the properties conditions and lack of investment they can only do so much. This by far is certainly one of the most uncomfortable stays. Especially while traveling with my family. Wasting my time writing this review to help other families avoid this discomfort and inconvenience

Terrible hotel, Hilton should think twice about putting their name on this one. Bathroom from above leaking down thru our light fixture and continues down to next floor below. Asked 3 times for housekeeping to service room, only to be told, "oh we need 24 hr notice", which we did! Happened last 2 days of the 4 nite stay! Hotel filled with screaming children left alone in their rooms. Filthy pool and very aging rooms in need of upgrades. They don't tell you about $30/day self park on top of $25/day resort fee. DEFINITELY NOT A $300/nite, much less $200/ nite resort!
