Address with modern and bright rooms that breathe serenity, offering many activities for children

One of the last addresses in Key West, a small tropical paradise with a lagoon-like pool. The bright, modern rooms exude serenity. You can take part in a rum tasting (every Thursday), enjoy smoothies and cocktails at the poolside bar or bite into a warm cookie in the lobby before going for a bike ride. Many activities are designed for children. And a kid-friendly resort is not so common in Key West!

I love the hotel chain. They are absolutely great. This location in Key West is absolutely great and I enjoyed my trip to Key West Florida. Location is in a good setting environment close to local amenities in the town. The pool is good and amazing. The breakfast that you had to pay extra for was worth it in my opinion, for the extra fee the breakfast was delicious and warm and freshly made each morning costing $28 a day. The individuals working the front desk were great and assisting and helpful. I loved the room. The sheets were spotless of any holes or rips, as I did not notice anything to complain about in this review. The pillow and mattress were great, comfortable, and clean. The general design and atmosphere of the room is great and the furniture in the room is comfortable and clean. Not a single rodent in the room and was great, I like that. Overall great hotel and will be back.

This is a great place for kids! The pool is way too small!

Wouldn’t recommend . Price point is way too excessive for the experience . Room floors were so dirty and unkept that my barefoot was almost black from just 5 mins walking around . Ac in the room turned off and lost power . Roaches 2-3 inches in the room , thankfully I only booked 2 days so I didn’t bother extending . The pool was good but not big enough for the property . Bar service was good but drinks very weak for 15 bucks eat. Food bland with no flavor . Positive is the beach is just across the street however we went during a time of heavy construction . Additionally was charged an extra 194 bucks more than agreed . The positive is they are supposed to refund me my 131 buck resort fee for the roaches and ac , and the supposedly the 194 bucks is a hold . As of time of this review , neither has been credited .

I love everything margaritaville but this hotel missed the mark on a few fronts. They seem to have an A-team and a B-team….Stayed from Monday-Saturday, 5 nights. Definitely more expensive than other hotels on the island but as I’ve had such stellar experiences at other margaritaville locations I chose here. The location can’t be beat; walking distance to the beach. The grounds are beautiful, but the service is so lacking it ruins the experience. Pool was cloudy and full of trash/leaves the entire stay. I noticed things like piles of hotel towels that had clearly been discarded the night before in/around the bushes and they stayed there untouched for 24+ hours. The morning staff at the front desk, restraint, and Johnny the shuttle driver were absolutely wonderful. The afternoon staff was the opposite… did not want to working and made it obvious.
We checked in around 6 and went out for dinner. Came up to the room later and realized they didn’t have any sheets on the pull out bed nor were there any in the room, even through I booked the room for 3 people and the room has just one king bed and one pull out. I called downstairs multiple times and no one answered. Ended up having to go down and the lady at the front desk rolled her eyes and handed me a stack of sheets…. Like sorry, for over 3k you’d think they’d make the dang bed. Did not give me a comforter or blanket for the second bed so the kiddo was cold. Room service didn’t show up one day so I had to call just for fresh towels, and then on night 2 our A/C went out. We didn’t realize until the next afternoon (room kept getting hotter) and when I called, again, no one picked up. Took 4 tries just to get front desk to answer and they did not care at all…. Just a “oh…well, we don’t have maintenance on duty right now”. I wouldn’t have changed rooms or anything if they offered right now as the kids already fell asleep but at least pretend to care. Luckily it’s colder outside than it is in our room (currently 75 and rising, plus super humid) so I have the windows open the tiny bit that they will open.
Majorly disappointing. We will still have a fun vacation but I won’t recommend this resort…. So many other options.
Edited to add: last 2 days were a bit better- maybe because they were gearing up for the weekend. I recommend getting up with the sun and having coffee on the beach while shell hunting - go as soon as the dawn comes before the beach comber machine scoops away all the seaweed and you’ll see some cool stuff! Might give this resort a second chance for proximity to the beach alone…this is the nicest beach on the island.
