A quiet place, run by Wendy, a painter from Seattle. Located right on the station platform, it's perfect for relaxing and catching the 5 o'clock train. Ample and comfortable rooms with a bohemian and artistic decoration, pleasant garden, eucalyptus fire sauna and massages. The hotel also has a nice shop. Excellent restaurant on site. Trains can be disturbing (the standard rooms, the older ones, are closer to the tracks). For families there is also a Casita with two connecting rooms. Make a reservation.

Hotel el ALBERGUE is compulsory stop backpackers to Machu Picchu by train. IT is actually located directly on the station platform of Ollantaytambo, 800m from the city centre. Something to rise at the last time to catch the 5 heures train. Spacious rooms and pleasant welcome you in a warm atmosphere. A restaurant serves good light meals.
