CURRENCY THEATRE
The Brussels Opera is a European avant-garde stage, but also the starting point of the Belgian revolution of 1830.
A prestigious stage from the 19th century to the First World War, it then sank into difficulties - only enlightened by Béjart and his Ballet du XXe siècle. La Monnaie regained its splendour in the 1980s and is now one of the great stages in Europe, particularly for contemporary dance and opera. It is said that it was after an opera in 1830 that the Belgians made their "revolution" for the independence of Belgium. In the 19th century, the Opéra de la Monnaie played an important role in introducing Wagner to the French-speaking public.

Un passage obligé entre la place et la rue neuve (rue des magasins)
I saw there this afternoon an exceptional Lulu with a staging clash of kristov varlikowski: spectacular, designed choreography with the chalk line, récence of children disconcerting stage and a Barbara Hanigan dazzling as Lulu
