The Central Station is located at Temple Road and Uyoma Road, behind Mfangano Street. This is where the KBS bus Bus (public company) starts. They connect Nairobi with all major cities in the West and Northwest of the country, as well as with a few other destinations. For all other destinations, go to the Country Bus Station (take Haile Selassie Avenue, opposite Uhuru Park, then turn right onto Landies Road). A multitude of matatus and buses serve the whole country. But again, attention is paid to the safety (disastrous state of buses and delirious driving of some drivers). When you decide to travel by bus, be aware of the potential risks.
