The Youth Hostel in Nairobi is a classic of its kind; it is well maintained and its services are reliable. You can choose between double rooms or dormitories for four and sixteen people. There is a snack, common kitchen, clean showers and toilets, guarded parking, instructions (bring your padlock) and a nice roof terrace. The hostel also organizes numerous excursions in and around Nairobi. The city centre is only a quarter of an hour walk away, but for security reasons, this journey is avoided after dark. Take a matatu or a taxi. Possibility to be recovered at the airport by a car from the hostel. Kenya Youth Hostels Association has guesthouses in all major cities in Kenya.
