A lovely little hotel from the international Mada chain, right in the center of Nairobi, well-kept and affordable. The colonial-style interior is all oak (as the name suggests). Small but airy, notably with its dining room halfway up the interior terrace, it's a pleasant space, with its elevator and decor. More homely and welcoming than most of Nairobi's hotels, it's a great option both for its ambience and its location. For a quiet night's sleep, prefer rooms facing the rear.
