A huge and interesting market where hundreds of artisans work with metals recovered in Nairobi

It is a huge market where hundreds of craftsmen, impressive of creativity, work with recovered metals. They recycle them into various items: trunks, oil lamps, tools... The atmosphere is oppressive after a while, because of the heat and the infernal noise of hammers hitting the metal, but it is a very interesting place, very representative of the informal sector of the capital! Jua Kali literally means "fierce sun" in Kiswahili; the real meaning is anyone who can fix anything, do anything, on demand.
