ELSAMERE LODGE
Cozy lakeside lodge with comfortable cottages, a center formerly the home of Joy and George Adamson
A mythical address and an institution! Located on the edge of the lake, 25 km from Naivasha, this centre was once the home of the famous Joy and George Adamson. Today, a small museum is dedicated to them and the centre welcomes many scientists. It is also open to the public and environmental enthusiasts will find someone to talk to. The small cottages are pleasant and comfortable. A relaxing atmosphere and a friendly, simple and authentic welcome. Beware of hippos at night who come to graze the grass in front of your cottages, a rare and striking moment!
