Tamarind Gardens is a modest address, well known to backpackers and budget travelers alike. Yet its location is ideal, on the shores of Lake Baringo and its exceptional birdlife. The camp is one of the last not yet to have its feet in the water. All you have to do is cross the road to admire the sunset over the lake. On the way back, a delicious dinner awaits you. The establishment also offers tours and excursions, including boat trips on the lake, as well as short hikes in the bush.
