Falls of 72 m discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson, with the waterfall creating a mist, a path leads to the bottom of the ravine
These 72 metre high waterfalls are particularly beautiful and worth a stop if you are in the area. They were discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson (1854-1895), who was the first European to walk from Mombasa to Lake Victoria. The waterfall creates a mist that feeds water to the dense forest below. A path leads down to the bottom of the ravine. Unfortunately, the souvenir sellers and the improvised traditional dancers, for a small tip in exchange for a photo, and sometimes too insistent, take away some of the charm of the place.
