The BeytSalam is an excellent address for those on a budget who want to enjoy Lamu for several days or even weeks. Ideally located on the corniche, you can reach the sights and restaurants on foot in just a few minutes. The few comfortable rooms are housed in two traditional houses that have been tastefully renovated with many nods to Swahili culture. Breakfast is served on the rooftop of one of the houses, and is excellent, with a view over the channel.
