Every year in Lamu, this festival celebrates the practice, principles and philosophy of yoga. Hear, hear, yogi travellers!

Four days of yoga, with over 26 teachers, 150 yoga classes, meditations and workshops, in the town of Lamu, the village of Shela and on the island of Manda. The festival, which has been running since 2013, also showcases Swahili culture through various cultural events. The eleventh edition of the festival is scheduled for November 2025. On the website, you'll also find details of upcoming retreats: Lamu Women's Happiness Retreat (7-day immersion in a small group of women).
