This is a corner of paradise built by Rudy, a Luxembourger who settled in Moalboal many years ago. The resort offers 25 bungalows nestled in a garden with access to one of the country's most beautiful reefs, where you can don a mask and snorkel to enjoy a fabulous reef just 50 meters from the beach. Rudy, a fervent defender of his reef, even cooperates with biologists, earning him numerous publications. Diving center, swimming pool, massage facing the sea and a good restaurant complete the offer. A beautiful address!

Particularly distressing was the difference in service between my family and a Caucasian couple who arrived after us. While the receptionist provided welcome tea and facility guidance to the couple, I received none. When I requested resort maps or facility information, I was told to refer to a map at the restaurant.
During breakfast on the first day, the unfriendly attitude of the staff member preparing eggs left me feeling uneasy. Upon arrival at the restaurant, despite several staff members being present, no one guided us to a table. It seemed they were engrossed in their own conversations and paid little attention to guests.
The issue escalated during the second day's breakfast due to a communication problem with the same unfriendly egg-cook staff member. This staff member, right in front of me, began conversing in Filipino with another staff member, seemingly mocking and discussing my communication problem, which was extremely disrespectful. Though I didn't understand their language entirely, the few words I caught and their demeanor indicated they were laughing and discussing my communication issue.
This led me to express my dissatisfaction at the reception, highlighting the problems with staff attitudes. My three-night stay was marred by the attitudes of reception and restaurant staff, excluding housekeeping and facility management.
Furthermore, during check-out, there was an issue with the card terminal malfunctioning, and they requested cash payment. I refused, and after the terminal was fixed, I settled the bill with my card. However, demanding cash payment due to a malfunctioning terminal was another problematic attitude displayed by the staff towards guests.
Despite its serene location and excellent facilities, my three-night stay at Dolphin House was ruined by the discourteous attitude of its staff. I cannot recommend this resort, and I believe it would be wise to explore other alternatives. It seems that the staff here still lack the service and attitude befitting a 4-star resort.
