Bakery and pastry shop offering ready-made meals to take away in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains.

The architecture, the azure blue color and the sign of its bakery-pastry shop have attracted photographers and painters alike. Loulou's house dates back to the turn of the century, and is one of the oldest in Saint-Gilles. Unfortunately, the house has suffered three destructive fires in 30 years, the last one in April 2024. But each time, Loulou rises from the ashes. He moved in next door while the old bakery was being rebuilt. You'll find the same samoussas, chilli sweets and macatias for which Loulou is famous. Prepared dishes to take away.

Un grand classique dans le centre de St Gilles. Les samossas sont excellents, ainsi que les gâteaux patate / manioc / papaye et banane.
C'est dommage que le personnel ne soit généralement pas très aimable.

Lieu incontournable typique de Saint Gilles pour déguster des spécialités créoles pour les plats du jours ou les samoussas, sarcives, bonbons piment... Service rapide et personnel souriant. je recommande les macatias qui sont vraiment délicieux et surtout de venir plutôt le matin pour avoir un large choix.
