Bakery and pastry shop offering ready-made meals to take away in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains.

The architecture, the azure blue color and the sign of its bakery-pastry shop have attracted photographers and painters alike. Loulou's house dates back to the turn of the century, and is one of the oldest in Saint-Gilles. Unfortunately, the house has suffered three destructive fires in 30 years, the last one in April 2024. But each time, Loulou rises from the ashes. He moved in next door while the old bakery was being rebuilt. You'll find the same samoussas, chilli sweets and macatias for which Loulou is famous. Prepared dishes to take away.

Allez-y les yeux fermés. Tout est bon là-bas. Mention spéciale aux samoussas sarcives, aux macatias ainsi qu'aux gateaux.

The hut Loulou is a building of St Gilles because " authentik caz Kreol" … specialties are equally (takeaway, a variety of samoussas, sweets peppers, sweets honey etc.). Advise rather tourists wishing to explore the creolities. A little expensive (sweets peppers with 0.50 cts) and not always the best in my opinion. The reception is the channel, not so warm therefore.

une institution de saint Gilles les bains ! une boulangerie patisserie dont les valeurs sures sont les macatias et les samoussas poulet et sarcives ! les plats à emporter sont authentiques de la cuisine créole ! à ne pas manquer dans la station balnéaire
