MUSEO YAMANA
To get to know a little better (thanks to slideshows and models in particular) this indigenous people who lived in harmony with their environment, before the Whites came to exterminate them. The ancestors of the Yamanas or Yaghanes arrived at the Beagle Channel more than 4,000 years ago. They were mainly fishermen's people, using sophisticated canoes in which they were able to light fires without sinking the boat. The museum highlights the resilience of this indigenous people who lived without clothing in an area with freezing temperatures. There is little information to date on this mysterious people.
