Classic dishes from a brasserie in a cosy bar.
The Garden Ice, a Clermont-Ferrand institution, has undergone a facelift and changed its name to (re)become the Suffren and become independent. On the first floor, the emblematic zinc counter is back, in a more modern atmosphere. Upstairs, the ambience is cosier, with a green-toned decor. The decor has changed, but the team has stayed the same, and you can still enjoy the uninterrupted service between 12 and 11pm, unique in Clermont-Ferrand. There are few changes on the menu, with the classic truffade, beef tartare, andouillette, as well as fish and chips and tuna tataki. It's still the perfect place for a coffee, a cocktail or an ice cream on the terrace.
