TAT KRABI OFFICE
Krabi is famous for its picturesque landscapes and breathtaking beaches. With attractions such as hot springs, a nature reserve, sea caves, thriving coral reefs and exotic marine life, limestone cliffs that attract climbing enthusiasts from around the world, and national parks including the island paradises of Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta, one could easily spend weeks in Krabi and still come back for more. If that wasn't enough, Krabi also offers some of Thailand's most photogenic sunsets, often accompanied by spectacular cloud-to-cloud lightning, to be enjoyed in a beachside bar or restaurant. The "town" for most visitors is Ao Nang, a strip of guesthouses, hotels, bars, restaurants and souvenir stores that continues to grow with increasing tourist arrivals, now stretching north to Noppharat Thara, whose quiet, shady beach is part of the national park that includes the Phi Phi Islands. Ao Nang is the main departure point for boat excursions to neighboring islands and the secluded beaches of the Phra Nang peninsula, home to the famous former hippie enclave of Railey Beach.
