BERJAYA BEAU VALLON BAY
If there is one hotel that all Seychellois know, it is this one. Located a quarter of an hour's drive from Victoria, this large carrier of 260 air-conditioned rooms, all furnished in rattan, with lounge area, television, minibar and electric kettle, has popularized the now famous beach of the same name, on which all tourists passing through Mahé have once or twice lengthened. Offered (in the large popular hotel range) by most tour operators, this hotel has undergone many changes since its opening in 1975. This large two-storey seaside carrier, built in a Y shape and set back from the beach, lacks a little charm... But the customers are flocking.
The two creolized buildings ("deluxe" category rooms), behind the main building, enhanced the hotel's standing a few years ago. In addition to the sandy-sea-swimming pool program, you can play tennis, learn to dive, get a massage, stretch your phalanges with water skiing, or lose the calories of gato koko in the gym. Four restaurants (international, pizzeria, Japanese and Chinese), three shops and a casino belong to this historic complex. And from 8pm to midnight, concerts and other activities set the mood at the bar facing the beach, renovated during the 2018 season. In 2019, the luxury rooms will be renovated.

the berjaya is indeed the reference that all the seychellois know. They regularly play casino or enjoy a drink.
The beach is pleasant and it is made here good bask evening after a long day trip;
3 restaurants (buffet, Asian and pizzeria/saladery/grilled meats). For my part I prefer by far the pizzeria, which has the huge advantage of being just above the beach.
The rooms are undergoing maintenance...the old are unworthy from a hotel of this category. the new extra, clean, well-appointed and practical.
the staff is very pleasant. you will find in the lobby everything you need to arrange excursions;
for memory there are many restaurants within a 15 minute walk old perimeters. this hotel has the great advantage of not feeling hostage of its amenities.
The berjaya beau vallon has an excellent diving club under Paddi navy for wonderful dives, at the beginning of the beach! Turtles and whale sharks can be.
the breakfast buffet is unforgettable... however the hotel restaurants is nothing special and is quite expensive compared to some restaurants that you can find in the region.
the hotel has free shuttles to Victoria 2 times a day.
