Tomb in Miliana, famous for its little phrases and maxims.
Sidi Ahmed Benyoucef (1432-1524) is the patron saint of Miliana, where he is buried. He played an important political role in supporting the Barbarossa brothers' resistance to the Spanish. He is also known for his satirical sayings. Legend has it that Sidi Ahmed Benyoucef's mule was responsible for choosing the site of the shrine. As the latter's remains were tied up, the animal stopped at the entrance to Miliana, where the mausoleum was built.
