DHOW PALACE HOTEL
Hotel with comfortable rooms, restaurant and swimming pool, housing in its old part heterogeneous Swahili antiques.
This Swahili mansion belonged to a wealthy Arab merchant. Its exotic wooden doors and floors, the cachet of its walls and the motley collection of Swahili antiques on display throughout add to its charm. There are 30 well-equipped rooms (air conditioning, safe, wifi, TV). In the old part, the rooms have a bathroom with a miniature bathtub in ancient mosaic (but which are rather outdated), and a Zanzibarite four-poster bed. The restaurant is located by the pool in the patio overlooking the road.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dhow Palace Hotel during my visit to Zanzibar, and it was truly an exceptional experience.
The rooms at Dhow Palace Hotel are a haven of comfort and cleanliness. The cozy beds provided a restful night's sleep, and the attention to detail in room maintenance was evident. The added touch of a mosquito net over the bed and nightly room sprays demonstrated the hotel's commitment to guest well-being.
One highlight of my stay was the diverse and satisfying breakfast spread, featuring an array of fresh fruits. The centrally positioned hotel in Stone Town made exploring the area convenient, allowing me to soak in the rich cultural atmosphere effortlessly.
The staff at Dhow Palace Hotel deserve special mention for their warm welcome and friendliness throughout my stay. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch, making me feel right at home. The complimentary Wi-Fi and the provision of tea and coffee in the rooms were thoughtful additions that enhanced the overall experience.
Furthermore, the indoor pool provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. It's evident that the Dhow Palace Hotel goes above and beyond to create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for its guests.
