For ten days, Zanzibar celebrates the cinema, arts and cultures of the African continent, as well as the countries of the Gulf, Iran, India, Pakistan and the islands of the Indian Ocean, collectively known as the countries of the dhows, the traditional dhows. Some forty screenings are scheduled in the city's major hotels and at the Vieux Fort.
