BLUE OYSTER HOTEL
Pleasant, value-for-money rooms in a hotel with a delicious restaurant and spa on Jambiani Beach.
A magical place composed of three one-storey houses, directly on the beach. The setting is idyllic with palm trees and bougainvillea in bloom. The rooms are simple, pleasant and clean, reasonably priced, decorated with rustic Zanzibarite furniture. The staff is involved and the hotel is well kept. The restaurant, with its feet in the sand, serves delicious food. The spa employs two sisters from Jambiani, Zena and Kazja, who use coconut oil and Zanzibar spices. The hotel rents out mountain bikes and offers the usual activities.

The only downside was how hot our room was. Which isn't their fault. They even brought in an extra fan for us which was a game changer. No fridges in the room as well.
Food was great, and Jambiani Beach was so much quieter and peaceful than Nungwi, Paje and Kendwa. You don't get bothered as much here, and there are plenty of other good food options nearby. If swimming at the beach is your priority, this is a great option, as you're right at the beach, only downside is you have to wait for high tide (which is the same at all Zanzibar beaches).
