The Centro Ricreativo Italiano or Italian Club of Cairo, founded in 1946, is a private non-profit association whose aim is to bring together Italians living or working in Egypt and to promote Italian culture. This little-known address for foreigners passing through is a good, simple table for lovers of traditional Italian cuisine. Open to non-members, the Italian centre, for an entrance fee of 20 LE, offers antipasti, fresh pasta and pizza, delicious. A reasonably priced and very good address.
