It's not easy to find this 2-star hotel, located in the center of Cairo, just a few minutes' walk from Ramses station. It has 100 rooms, all with satellite TV, air conditioning and private bathroom. Although its value for money is unbeatable, and its welcome impeccable, it has no real charm. It is nevertheless close to popular monuments such as the Al-Azhar mosque and the citadel (Al-Qalaa). Close to the Saigon restaurant, famous for the crab it serves.

I back a Egypt and I very happy with Hôtel Happyton au Caire. It is clean with good bedding, a warm welcome, they speak English running and give good advice. Its restaurant is very decent but a little expensive. However, the cuisine is friendly.
