RAMSES HILTON HOTEL * * * * *
A former grand hotel overlooking Tahrir Square and the Nile, housed in a 36-storey building with brightly lit rooms.
One of Cairo's oldest grand hotels, built in the 1980s. Overlooks Tahrir Square, the Egyptian Museum and the Nile. Not always easy to reach on foot. It was from this hotel that journalists reported during the "revolution", with Tahrir Square at their backs. The Ramses Hotel has 36 floors and bright rooms. A spa area, with Jacuzzi and sauna, is available for guests to relax in after a Cairo crowd bath. The hotel also boasts a fitness center.
