An unglamorous hotel overloaded with marble, but well located. A little pricey for its category and amenities, but it has its devotees and regulars. The outdoor pool is heated, but in the middle of apartment blocks, don't be surprised if you're the sight of some of the locals. The gym is relatively small, and the sauna and hammam are not always very clean. Take a stroll through the Soliman Gohar souk, just a few metres from the hotel. Here, you can enjoy a cup of tea in one of the street's popular cafés, and soak up the atmosphere of the city.
