Reopened after several years of closure, some parts of this museum still seem to be in use. Located opposite the Opera House, it houses a rich collection of Egyptian artworks from the 20th and 21st centuries, presenting a comprehensive overview of modern art in Egypt. Nearly a thousand paintings and pictures inhabit this quiet and modern building frequented by many students. An outdoor exhibition of statues completes this original visit.
