ORMAN GARDEN
Cairo's oldest botanical garden, divided into three zones, preserving century-old trees and rare species.
The oldest of Cairo's botanical gardens, north of the majestic avenue that leads from the Nile to Cairo University. At the time of its construction, in Giza, only the gardens and the countryside extended. It preserves century-old trees and rare species, including astonishing collections of cacti and succulents. The garden is divided into three areas and has a small botanical museum with a herbarium. The Al Orman Garden is famous for the flower festivals held during the Cham Al Nessim festivals.
