CRETACEOUS PARK
Educational park particularly appreciated by children, ideal for discovering the dinosaur footprints on the island.
Researchers on the island have made a surprising discovery! Nearly two hundred dinosaur footprints have been found, dating back to the Cretaceous period, between 145 and 65 million years ago - the end of the secondary era when these limestone soils were formed. Numerous traces were found just outside the port, particularly on the rocks. This major discovery has led to the creation of an educational park, particularly popular with children, who love to walk in the footsteps of Dinosaurus.
