SAINTE-FOSCA CHURCH
Disused church in Renaissance and Baroque styles with an interesting collection of sacred art and tombstones.
Built in the first half of the 17th century, St. Fosca's Church (Crkva sv. Foška) features a mix of architectural styles, from Renaissance to Italian Baroque. Today, it is no longer in use and serves as a museum of sacred art, open to the public during the summer season. The permanent exhibition room features an interesting collection of tombstones, religious objects, sculptures and religious paintings, including a 17th-century painting depicting the martyrdom of Saint Fosca.
