A nice farmhouse between Umag and Buje offers spacious rooms with ceiling beams and nice wooden furniture.
Between Umag and Buje, the large bastide directly overlooks the former Austro-Hungarian Parenzana railroad line, which once linked Trieste to Poreč. Today, this former railroad line has been transformed into a cycling and walking trail, so the establishment offers a peaceful rural stopover with spacious, rustic and comfortable rooms for 2 or 3 people. This farm was one of the first properties in Istria to be established as an agriturismo. The chef has won several awards for his truffle dishes. Bicycles available for hire.

Homemade olive oil, herbs from the local garden, fresh bread.
Very nice customer service - they make you feel like home. Great talk about ingrediences, great recommendation for wine!
We are so lucky to find this place. Restaurant is very cozy, very clean and with amazing service. The owner, Marko, greeted us personally and offered his help with anything we might need while traveling. Dishes with truffles are a must! Zucchini carpaccio was amazing! Oh, homemade cookies with coffee were the best I tried.
Thank you, La Parenzsna, for your hospitality and great food.
