Just 2 km down the road from Opatija to Lovran is Ičići. Originally, it was a small fishing port. Today, on the riviera, the road that crosses it (Liburnijska ul.) is very busy in summer. But the campsite is quiet because it climbs the hill. With pitches for tents and motorhomes, the terraced site is well shaded by tall trees. It's a comfortable retreat for those who don't want or can't afford a palatial vacation! The added bonus is its proximity to a beach and the Učka nature park.

Der Platz hat schöne Ecken, nette Plätze, Grün und Bäume, weiter oben ist es ruhiger (unten laute Straße). Reichlich Sanitäranlagen in gutem Zustand (das manche Mitcamper Schweine sind hat der Platz nicht zu verantworten) sind vorhanden. Dennoch ist es gefühlt ein Platz, der eher zum Stopover (um zB Opatija anzuschauen), als zum Urlauben einlädt. So habe ich auch das geschäftigsmäßige Einchecken/Personal empfunden. Zu diesem Zweck aber volle Empfehlung (trotz vom Regen aufgeweichten Stellplätzen und Festfahrgefahr). Viel Platz zum selbst auswählen, was ich immer bevorzuge!
