SQUARE TOWER
Square tower next to the Place Saint-Georges with a renovated room used as an exhibition space.
Next to Place Saint-George, the square tower is the last remaining piece of the fortress. Its massive construction is a reminder of the power of the stronghold. The original stones can be seen up to halfway up the impressive edifice. They support the various elevations, which were added for protection during the wars of occupation in the 17th century. Inside these thick walls, a renovated room, owned by the municipality, is now used as an exhibition space (historical collection).
