Medieval church next to the Clock Tower in Cres with statues of the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary.
The medieval church, with its Croatian name Majka Bozja Snjezna, is located next to the Clock Tower. It has a 15th-century portal, itself decorated with a relief of the Madonna and Child. Above the pilaster columns embedded in the walls, you will observe the statues of the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary. Inside the church, there is another carved figure of the Virgin, a beautiful wooden Pietà. A religious building to see in Cres.
