Passports taken/moved and then staff were extremely rude and unhelpful when trying to remedy the issue. The wardrobe also broken despite us having one of the most expensive rooms. Really unfortunate as it is a nice hotel visually but this experience would mean I certainly do not recommend and will not be returning.

The bedroom was very comfortable and breakfast is really good with delicious fresh coffee and squeezed orange juice.
The hotel has no facilities like lounge area or spa.
Was very disappointed as we booked Almayer to start our honeymoon and although the hotel knew about it they did not make any special arrangement for us. We had our flight cancelled and arrived very late for the first night, it would have been nice if they had biscuits and tea for us. There was no bottle opener in the bedroom, we then got a glass of wine each which was charged.
It was a negative surprise that actually in the second night we asked for a cup of tea before going to bed (there is no kettle or coffee machine in the bedroom) and we got charged for 2 cups of tea, where in the world a hotel on this level would charge a guest for 2 bags of tea and hot water.

The hotel is not awfully bad, but it is not a 4 star hotel with alot of 4 star amenities missing. Breakfast was ok but limited in choice. One star is for the check out experiance wich I had with a lady at the fron desk, unfortunatly as I was so upset with her I forgot to ask for the name. My room was prepaid but initially they could not see that in thair system I asked her to double check by calling a number wich I was given by the travel agency, which the lady refused to do. After i started calling the number myself before even i nanaged to get someone on hold, the information about the prepaid room miraculously appeared. The lady handled the situation very unprofessionally, and even at some point she started arguing with me with a loud voice, which is outraguos for a 4 star hotel service.

We stayed here in March 23 for 1 night and really enjoyed the stay. Got an upgrade to the room you see on the pictures. Everything was perfectly clean, bed super comfy. Great menue Breakfast. In the evening we had a couple of cocktails, prizy, but delicious!

This is the place to stay in Zadar. Friendly, helpful staff (shoutout to Paul, Elena, and the breakfast servers whom I don’t know the names of). The place has really nice lighting inside the rooms and the showers and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is incredible and situated in a beautiful backyard oasis. 10/10 recommend.

Avoid.

Room recommended by the hotel, a downgrade from the one we originally booked, had music blasting from two nearby clubs - Arsenal and Garden - late into the night.

Not being able to sleep, we took a shower and were delighted to find it leaking profusely and required us to assemble a carpet of towels in an attempt to prevent flash flooding. Hotel manager helpfully expressed they were actually aware of the leakage, sharing with us their contractor woes (?), but pretended not to be aware of the techno blasts (hard of hearing?) which must have entertained many a guest this summer.

To top it all off, after checking out a day early (no alternative room was offered), they proceeded to charge us for the night we did not stay and for some reason thought it was appropriate (funny?) to charge us EUR 17 for standard hotel bathroom hair conditioner.

Avoid at all cost this sad, unprofessional and shameless operation.
