ST. LAWRENCE CATHEDRAL (KATEDRALA SVETOG LOVRO)
Cathedral with open view in Trogir keeping its basilica plan with three naves in Romanesque style and its Renaissance portal.
Built on the foundations of a basilica destroyed by the Saracens in 1123, the cathedral underwent several alterations over four centuries. However, it still has a harmonious architecture, with a basilica plan with three naves in the Romanesque style and a Renaissance portal decorated with sculptures by the artist Radovan (1420). Not to be missed is the climb (not easy!) to the 47 m high bell tower-campanile. Open view, which covers the entire lagoon, the archipelago and as far as Split.
