ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM (ETNOGRAFSKI MUZEJ)
In Diocletian's ancient dining room is a museum of historic Dalmatian craftsmanship, with a sixty-step circular terrace.
Until 2004, the museum was housed in the former town hall. It then moved into the private apartments of Diocletian's palace, taking up residence in the emperor's 4th-century dining room. The museum provides a comprehensive overview of Dalmatian craftsmanship (costumes, lace, silver and copper jewelry, etc.). There's also a collection of weapons and a reconstruction of a traditional indoor dwelling. Don't miss the circular terrace, reached by 60 steps (+ €1).
