GALLERY JAKŠIĆ
Family gallery in Split exhibiting paintings of the historian, jewelry and sculptures.
The Jakšić family, painters and sculptors, owns a gallery in Brač and another in Split. The first studio was built, in the 1960s, for the work of the grandfather, Lovro Jakšić. The second gallery was opened in 2008 in Split, in the convent of the Sisters of Charity, a soothing place where you can admire paintings by art historian Dina Jakšić, jewelry by Ida Jakšić and sculptures by Lovre Jakšić, while the gallery's interior design is the work of stonemason and mason Drazen Jakšić, the current owner.
