On the old harbor, the Porin is a hotel that inherited a neo-medieval (19th century) palace that belonged to the Kačić-Peko family. It is the former library of Makarska that became private property in 2002. Beautifully restored, the hotel offers rooms and suites with classic and modern comfort, with beautiful volumes, double glazing, free wifi connection, and above all this beautiful brightness. Some of them have 3 arched windows for a panoramic sea or mountain view. An ideal location in Makarska.

The rooms are nice. But not the noise
This Hotel is at top location in Makarska, on the city promenade with newly renovated modern rooms and comfortable bed. The beautiful modern interior of the very clean room with a touch of luxury is amazing. You will find lovely little mini set of Rituals cosmetics in the beautiful bathroom (details that make a big difference ????).
A short walk to restaurants and the beach from the hotel. Lively bar is right outside the hotel.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and always at your service.
We had a breakfast at the hotel's restaurant Cvit soli, at nice mediterranean terrace with great food and top service.
We would recommend a room with a sea view overlooking the harbor.
We highly recommend this hotel and hope we will be back soon!
