Monastery with two massive towers in Stari Grad preserving a master painting and two paintings by Giambattista Crespi.

Founded by the Christian community in 1482, this perfectly preserved monastery was fortified in the 16th century, with its two massive towers, in anticipation of an Ottoman attack. Inside, you can visit the church, library, cloister and exhibition rooms for sacred art, including a masterpiece painting, The Entombment of Christ, attributed to Tintoretto, and two paintings by Giambattista Crespi. A must-see when visiting Stari Grad.
