DOMINICAN MONASTERY AND MUSEUM
Monastery with two massive towers in Stari Grad preserving a master painting and two paintings by Giambattista Crespi.
Founded by the Christian community in 1482, this monastery (perfectly well preserved) was fortified in the 16th century, with its two massive towers, in anticipation of an Ottoman attack. Inside you can visit the church, the library, the cloister and the exhibition rooms of sacred art, where a master painting, the Tomb of Christ, attributed to Tintoretto, and two paintings by Giambattista Crespi are kept. Things to do while you're at Stari Grad.
