We were picked up by the restaurant taxi, had a great tour of the winery and food cooking area

The traditional Peka lamb and fish were the highlight of our holiday on Viz

Second time visiting and diving at this restaurant. On arrival we were taken on a tour of the area where the peks's are prepared and shown the cellar door with its various wine options. Our meal was exceptional, the atmosphere was amazing.

Delicious dinner and dessert, amazing service, lovely wine and an overall great experience. Even the shuttle driver was so kind. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Great location, very friendly, quick and responsive staff as well as great food. We thoroughly enjoyed eating there.

This place is SO GOOD. Highly recommend. The octopus was incredible. Delicious bread and fish plate was delightful. Go here.

364 eur for 8 persons, just main dish and 2 bottles of wine...overpriced and do not recomend!

Excellent service, as well as food. We ate a fish plate and after, Grdobina under the peka. Walnut and a cherry aperitif was for a start and after we appreciated Rocky's Plavac Butelja.

A small complaint about the chairs and the base on which they sit. The floor is very uneven and extremely uncomfortable for prolonged restoran sitting despite the fact that we liked the home atmosphere (but that's something completely different). I actually struggled the entire time to stay at the table along with the chair. And I wasn't drunk ????????
Both are very uncomfortable. And irritating hard.

The complete atmosphere is more than good. And the impression is enhanced by the very friendly, professional and kind staff, that should be appreciated.

Best part of our trip to Vis. What a true gem.

First and foremost, they graciously accepts credit cards which is about 1 in 50 on this island.

Pretty easy to make a reservation.

We drove ourselves there but they actually provide shuttles if you’re staying in vis town ????.

Experience: The younger lady that greeted us was so warm and welcoming, a breath of fresh air from what we had grown used to during our 4 weeks in Croatia.

Welcome drinks. Discussed options and what she enjoyed the best there then set us up to tour the wine cellar which we bought a bottle of Bugava to go. (I will say it wasn’t the same quality as the glasses we had during dinner though but that’s okay we still enjoyed it and it’s only $12 so maybe they have a more expensive bottle that’s the same?)

Server: She was prompt, friendly and just attentive enough. Perfect.
Food: Sadly they were out of the fish pie so we didn’t get to try that but the bread was fresh baked and quality. The Lamb Peka was our first so nothing to compare to but it was good. Wish we went with the seafood - only reason we didn’t was because we didn’t want octopus but it sounds like they don’t do it with the seafood one so I would get the seafood with rice peka for sure if doing it over again. Also a really big portion for the two of us, we felt like it was a really great value.

Atmosphere: Rural vineyard elegant feel, garden seating was our preference and it was perfect. You can also sit under a pergola style with vines growing over it allowing for small or large groups, or in a more covered area so you have plenty of options there.

Highly recommend, by far best part of our 6 day Vis stay ????

El plato principal que es la Peka , la tomamos de cordero y lo cierto es que estaba pasado de cocción y con partes del cordero de peor calidad que en algunos trozos no nos comimos. Yo no volvería.
Puesto que se trata de una preparación autóctona de Croacia creo que deberían esmerarse más y no me imagino como resultarán las pelas de pulpo y de pescado si ni siquiera consiguen el punto de cocción del cordero.

The place were not official open for the day, but they served us small fish&meat plates anyway. They were simply delicious. Both of them. We took also their own wine. You really should try it!

Amazing food, place and staff.

Not much to say except “perfection”!
The food, portions, staff, wine, everything was as it should be and so much more.
Big parking space is available (you do need a car to get there from Vis or Komiza).
If you plan to get peka like we did (recommend!!) make sure to book and order in advance so they can cook it on time.
Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality you will get.
Definitely looking forward to coming back, thank you!
P.s. You will get a short tour of their wine cellar where you can buy the bottles which can be a great souvenir from the island.

We arrived without a booking for dinner, but were still able to have platters and wine tastings. Made for the perfect afternoon. Other food looked incredible, wish we had booked

Good spot

Najbolja peka od hobotnice koju sam jela. Lijep ambijent. Zanimljiva priča. Treba rezervirati.

Il faut absolument réserver avant de venir car la préparation de leur spécialité le peka prend entre 1h30 et 4h. Ils sont venus nous chercher au port de Vis en mini bus. Accueil très agréable dans une propriété au milieu des champs et vignes.
Accueil très sympa avec visite de l’endroit où ils préparent le peka puis celui où ils produisent leur propre vin.
Nous avons pris une assiette de charcuterie et une autre à base de poissons... Ce fut très bien pour nous ouvrir l’appétit.
Ensuite nous avons choisi le peka de lotte accompagné d’un tajine de légumes. Ce fut excellent et goûteux.
Comme boisson nous avons choisi un bon rouge de leur production car le blanc nous plaisait moins...
Tout cela pour 5 personnes au prix de kn 1’300.-, c’est très correct.
Nous recommandons vivement cette expérience culinaire.
