Nisam boravila u hostelu, ne mogu dati definitivnu ocjenu

Velika smo grupa od 20+ ljudi i s Draganom smo dogovorili najam cijelog hostela jer je kapacitet kuće takav da točno toliko ljudi stane. Obećao nam je svašta i s njim smo se sve lijepo dogovorili skoro pola godine unaprijed upravo zato što smo velika grupa i svjesni smo da nas nije tako lako ugostiti, no sve što smo se dogovorili palo je u vodu kada smo došli i vidjeli da je Dragan bez pardona iznajmio cijeli hostel, a nas smjestio u dvije prostorije u koje je natrpao krevete na kat. Ništa nije bilo kao na slikama, muške je smjestio u podrum gdje ih je spavalo 12, dvojica kolega su spavali u nekoj kao ostavi, šupi, koja je prolaz do toaleta pa su im ljudi koji su išli u toalet praktički prelazili preko glave. Cure je smjestio u KUHINJU u koju je također postavio krevete na kat. Ništa od toga nije bilo dogovoreno, na slikama nije bilo kreveta na kat.. Uz sve to komunikacija s domaćinom je prilično teška i zbunjujuća.

We had a private room which had a very “homely” relaxed vibe. Unfortunately some of people on the tour had a dorm in the basement which they did not enjoy. The place also had a pool so you did not have to walk too far for a quick cool off. This place was about a 30 minute walk to town and about 40 minutes back as it is mostly up hill.

Cute, familiar Hostel near the old town of Korcula:) only stayed one night and it was rainy, but you have a fully equipped kitchen, had my own bathroom and really inspiring and deep conversation’s with the owner! He is welcoming & caring! Can highly recommend his hostel☺️????????

Disappointing. The mattress felt 30 years old and we had a terrible sleep both nights. We aren’t usually picky about these things, but this was especially bad. We politely asked to switch rooms and they refused.

Hot water was only ever enough for a single ~6min shower. Problematic if you’re a couple.

The kitchen was absolutely hopeless, with only a single old stove for everyone in the hostel. There are a few photos online of nice-looking common room/kitchens, but those don’t seem to actually exist anymore.
In fact, there is no photo in this Google listing of the actual kitchen, probably because it’s so bad.

The balcony had no furniture. Everything seemed varying degrees of neglected.

Yes it’s cheap (ish), but somehow we still felt ripped off. Would be much better to spend just a few more euros for a better nights sleep and better facilities.

Soba čista, sasvim pristojna ali ništa posebno. Djevojka koja nas je dočekala nije pričala hrvatski(?). Ništa nam nije bilo jasno.
Do centra grada autom malo manje od 10min. Za te novce ok, ipak je to hostel.

Blagi užas. Wc vam je pa u sobi, bez prozora.

Outdated and needs modernisation. No breakfast on location but it didn't bother me

Omjer cijene i onoga sto se nudi nije u balansu (222eura preko Bookinga - 2 noći). Na slikama koje su postavljene priča se čini sasvim drugačijom.

Cet « hôtel » fut notre plus mauvaise expérience en Croatie, et ce sur plus de deux semaines !

Arrivés aux alentours de 17h avec une réservation de dernière minute en ligne, nous trouvons porte clause à la réception. Nous interrogeons les gens autour de la piscine et dans les couloirs, qui nous informent que « le gérant à du s’absenter, vous n’avez qu’à attendre ». Au bout d’une heure 1/2 d’attente (génial quand vous venez de faire une randonnée de 3h par près de 37 degrés) un occupant de l’hôtel nous apporte une clé, nous laisse l’accès à la chambre en nous informant que « l’on viendrait nous voir pour scanner nos documents d’identité pour les taxes de séjour ».

Résultat ? Personne n’est venu nous voir jusqu’à notre départ le lendemain alors que nous sommes entrés et sortis plusieurs fois de « l’hôtel » ! Donc, outre le fait que nous n’ayons pas pu faire part de notre insatisfaction, nous ne pouvons que supposer que le gérant n’a pas payé ses taxes !

En dehors de cet « incident » que l’on pourrait imaginer comme isolé, la description de l’hôtel est complètement mensongère.

- Il s’agit plus d’une auberge de jeunesse avec 15 personnes autour d’une piscine en train de fumer-boire des bières-écouter de la musique à fond toute la journée ! Si vous êtes là dans une optique plus sportive & de découverte de l’île, de sa gastronomie et de sa culture… clairement vous êtes un OVNI !

- Les photos sont particulièrement trompeuses : le lieu est mal tenu avec des meubles des années 90, des parties communes sales et une odeur de renfermé !

- Autres hôtes rentrés au milieu de la nuit en faisant beaucoup de bruit.

- Un tarif de 15 € pour utiliser la machine à laver non merci !

- Matelas inconfortable dans la chambre double en montant l’escalier à gauche.

- Serviette tachée dans la chambre.

Bref, ce lieu est un vrai cauchemar ou l’on ne se sent pas du tout à l’aise !

Assez mal situé, même si ce point était connu.

Les nombreux avis Google avec 5 étoiles de profils avec seulement 1 avis ont peu de chance d’être réels (plutôt de faux comptes créés pour remonter la note ?).

Une vraie arnaque pour le prix !

Do not recommend for female travelers. The owner is one creepy duuude. I had a very uncomfortable experience myself, and when speaking to the other female guests, several of them had also had uncomfortable encounters. This is a sexual assault incident just waiting to happen (if it hasn't already). Very uncomfortable atmosphere.
I did not feel comfortable using the pool facilities. Those females who did reported being stared at and even touched by the owner.
There is no key to lock the large dorm.
Facilities were unhygienic.
We were eaten alive by mosquitos at night.
A half hour walk to the city center.

The owner Dragan is a cool guy who is ready to extend a helping hand despite of him being so busy.
We were here almost end of the season so they are already starting to do some repairs, but he still managed to pick us up from the ferry terminal.

Abbiamo pernottato in questo ostello per una sola notte, in una camera doppia con bagno privato.
Niente da dire sulla camera, abbastanza pulita, con aria condizionata ed un bagno decente.
Check-in sbrigativo e possibilità di utilizzare il frigorifero segnando il proprio nome e la data di check-out.
Noi avevamo fatto la spesa per cucinare e mangiare nell'ostello, ma la cucina era SEMPRE piena. Quando alle 23:00 abbiamo provato nuovamente ad approcciarci alla cucina, l'abbiamo trovata chiusa.
Che dire, non abbiamo cenato.
Il mattino dopo, sveglia presto, alle 7:00, per prendere il traghetto e le nostre cose erano ancora nel frigorifero, impossibili da prendere perché la porta era chiusa a chiave.
Inutile dire che abbiamo contattato la reception la quale, quasi scocciata, ci ha fatto accedere a recuperare il nostro cibo.
Sarebbe carino lasciare la cucina aperta h24, in modo da dare la disponibilità di poter cucinare o preparare la colazione all'orario desiderato.

Za onoga ko voli i ko je navikao da gostuje u kućnoj atmosferi, osrednje opremljenosti, daleko od gužve i plaže, ovaj objekat je dobar. Za nas, nažalost, nije bilo ono što nam je potrebno.

Very neat and chill place, with a pretty nice round pool made from what appears to be genuine hard stone, not just a cheap, old and tired blue tiled square pool. It is clearly regularly cleaned and maintained. Private rooms are really nice, soothing and fairly spacious with a free to use and modern air conditioning. And beds are really really comfortable :)

I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights (as I extended my stay- as I was enjoying it so much!

Good:
The staff were super friendly
The pool and area around it is a super nice place to chill and relax, able to cool off in the water
The room was nice, with aircon and the kitchen was good to use too
There is a nice social area just outside where people can come together and get to know each other
Dragon, the hostel owner, was great in that he took us on mini excursions to the beach and for cliff jumping! It was a really friendly atmosphere. In these trips we also went to the shops to get things we needed and it was all included in the stay.

I had a great time and it is the perfect place to chill and relax- especially if you are coming from Party Island Hvar!

Worth noting:
The Hostel is a bit far away from the old town, so it is about a 25 minute walk there, but Dragon gave lifts for 50 Kuna (Taxi’s are about 70 Kuna) and you could split this with another person from the Hostel!

Highly recommend a stay- I will go back if I’m ever in Korcula again!

The facilities are pretty basic but you don’t really care since the overall vibe is so nice, both Dragan and the staff were really friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home. There was always something going on (beach trip, cliff jumping, bbq, party etc) and everyone is invited. Highly recommend for solo travellers.

Amazing place in a lovely neighbourhood.
Super clean and lovely stuff.
