I am tempted to give Hotel Kazbek a one-star review, because if I did you might not compete with my wife and me to book a room for our next trip. We wish it could be our little secret. We stayed there for 3 days in September 2018 before taking a Mediterranean cruise, and 5-1/2 years later the memories remain pleasant and strong. As others have said, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the outdoor areas—pool, courtyard, and terrace—are relaxing, the service is outstanding, and the food alone would be worth the trip. It’s far enough from the Old Town that you aren’t caught in the crowds when cruise ships totaling more than 1500 passengers are in port. It’s close enough that the bus is a convenient and easy way to get there in the evening or in time to enjoy it before the cruise crowds arrive. The only problem with the meals was that they were so good that we could hardly tear ourselves away often enough to try the restaurant at the marina a short walk away or restaurants in the neighborhood just up the walkway up the hill. We will have to return for a longer stay. Although I would not call this hotel kid friendly, it isn’t hostile to kids, either. I recall at least one family with kids perhaps 10 years old enjoying it as their base for a Dubrovnik holiday. And did I mention the food? The breakfasts, the rolls, the entrees, the desserts, and the wine selections were top notch. I still remember a perfectly roasted rack of lamb and an exquisite cheesecake. Or was it the taste I got of my wife’s mousse? Outstanding as the meals on our luxury cruise were, the meals at Hotel Kazbek might have been better—the culinary highlight of our vacation.

10/10

Volveremos.

No mention of massive roadworks right outside!! Road impassable. Nice and polite staff, but overall, was not a great experience.

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The hotel is beautiful, well kept and clean, The perfect location since its a decent distance from the hassle and bustle of Dubrovnik center but still easy access to a good variety of restaurants. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we have had!

Usluga je odlična, i sam ambijent u objektu,...međutim lokaciju je pokvarila nova marina i gradiliste koje je tu već dugi niz godina....nazalost

What a fantastic hotel. The staff are so lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is done with a smile and happiness. The hotel is luxurious but not formal and the breakfast in the courtyard was a joy. Top quality food, fantastic choice and all served with a smile. The pool is lovely with really comfy sun loungers and waiter service from the bar. The bed was so comfortable and the room was lovely and cool. Uber is a must as the old town is a long walk. Can't wait to go back.

Stayed here for three nights and could have not picked a better hotel! Though there was a massive construction work going on right outside the hotel, we were not bothered at all. The staff was very welcoming and warm. The hotel pool area is small and simple, yet so relaxing and beautiful. The rooms are beautifully furnished and they compliment the old style of the building. The location of the hotel is splendid; far enough from the busy old town, while it is still accessible by foot in about 40 min; there are countless nice restaurants just a few minutes away from the hotel and yet it is so peaceful. This hotel will be our selection of accommodation for future trips to Dubrovnik, no doubt.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful tastefully done building with a mixture of mod cons and historic features.
It’s location is plagued at the moment by massive works right outside building a new road and port. So peaceful mornings and afternoons there are not at the moment and access is difficult as you have to dodge cement mixers and works related diggers and stuff. You will need to bring a sturdy pair of shoes/boots to deal with the terrain right outside the hotel covered in mud from the works.
The location is also in my opinion not ideal for a short statin Dubrovnik. It’s a 20€ taxi or 45 min walk to the main event - the old town. I had stayed there based on a recommendation and it was a good place but if you are going to Dubrovnik in 2023 I would look at a place much nearer the old town/ in the future post the works it may be worth considering again but in our stay at the end of day to come back to the hotel and have to battle with a crane really is not fun!

This is a beautiful hotel. The housekeeping is immaculate & the girls who keep it so spotless are lovely. Reception staff are very helpful & courteous. The food is fantastic - obviously very talented chef or chefs. The serving staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. A wonderful holiday. Thank you to everyone.

Not 5 star rooms or service. The rooms inside are super dated and in desperate need of an upgrade. The bedrooms are dirty and not cleaned well. The staff are unfriendly and the atmosphere is like a ghost hotel. The pool area and facilities are tired. It’s located on the industrial part of the harbour so not really any nice views.

We had such a wonderful experience at this place! Super private, so it’s perfect for romantic trips and families. The staff was really helpful and friendly!
The breakfast was the best that I had in my entire trip (stayed in 4 different places). Several options to choose from, including healthier ones for those who wants to keep a healthy lifestyle!
The place was beautiful, which brings an amazing atmosphere, the architecture makes you really feel the Croatian vibes.
The pool was super nice, great for that “after breakfast” relaxing time.
Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed, definitely coming back next year.

Absolutely loved staying at Hotel Kazbek. Not only is it a beautiful place with comfortable rooms, the service is great as well. We did order room service and ate breakfast at the hotel, both were great! It's a bit out of the main hustle and bustle which was nice. It's about a 10 min Uber ride to the Old Town and has plenty of restaurants nearby.

Hôtel de charme, très romantique. La chambre est spacieuse et lumineuse. C'est propre, le personnel est agréable et souriant. Le service est correct.
It is quite expensive, but it is worth it for a night to escape from the old town to enjoy the beautiful, quiet hotel.
charming welcome
